What's your side of the story as to why you were banned? I'm not actually sure (it's been a while), but I suspect it may have to do with the fact that I did not have a ping, since I play on Linux. Happens with a lot of servers, but I've never been banned from one for it, just kicked.

Why should we lift your ban? I've upgraded my proton installation (the thing which allows me to play bf4 on Linux), and my ping now appears. If I was banned for some reason other than missing ping, then I don't really know.

Kick reason (from Battlelog) I am unable to join via Battlelog due to being on linux, and am unable to find my kick reason (though I believe it was for missing ping)

How do you know DrTr2?

Is that the username of a person? If so, I definitely don't know anyone that goes by that. I literally only play BF4 with two friends, Tangiblelight and Cdlrrcb, after I got the game a few weeks ago specifically to play with them.

Do you live in and apartment complex or military base that shares network IP’s? Looks like the person I mentioned above was banned for cheating at PB IIRC. And you are linked with them.

I do live in a condo complex, and do use the internet provided by the HOA, so it's certainly possible that there is some sharing of IPs. It's also student housing for a university, so people move in/out yearly. I moved here about a year ago, so it's also possible this DrTr2 lived in this same condo in the past, depending on how long ago they were banned.

Actually, I looked up DrTr2's ban record through https://banzore.com/bf4-stats/index.php?p=player&player=DrTr2 and saw that he seemed to be active on your servers till Jul 13th, and I bought BF4 on Jul 2nd, so there is a bit of overlap there, so if this is an IP thing then it must be someone else who was actively living in the complex between the 2nd and 13th.

Though, my own page (https://banzore.com/bf4-stats/index.php?p=player&player=Quatern10n) doesn't have a "Banned" banner at the top of the profile like DrTr2's, so does this mean that the ban is out of your control (as in, I'd have to appeal elsewhere)? I'm just trying to understand more about this situation so I can figure out how to fix it.

Sorry for the delay, it's been crazy inside and out of bZ. Unfortunately since it's a linked account there isn't much we can do to help with this. Whoever DrTr2 is would need to either appeal with PB or would need to move out I believe.
