"Battlefield 2042 sucks!" - People who watched one gameplay video on Youtube when it was first released.
"Battlefield 2042 sucks!" - People who originally got it back when it was glitchy and haven't played it since it's been patched with literally 99% of glitches fixed.
"Battlefield 2042 sucks!" - The sweaty cumlords who can't deal with the fact that its more difficult to vehicle farm, they can't /lead themselves into a squad leader position and there are no UCAVs or mortars.

I'm curious what sucks about it. Don't be broad and say "everything". What part of it isn't good?
I'd much rather have the refund I've been requesting since it came out.
I'm just being a troll. On a serious note, things I've heard: maps are mostly empty space; no hardcore mode; server match-making sucks; knifing mechanic sucks; too "bright and fun".
I think it is telling when people do not want to play it even if it's free. EA has burned their bridge with me many times. I'm not even gonna repair my half of it anymore.

2042 FUCKING SUCKS......got about 20 hours in it after all the new updates.....me seeing bad company 2 as the best of the series i was rock hard to see old rush maps in EX mode with 128 players (CREAMED MY FUCKING PANTIES WHEN I SAW IT) but after only 10 hours of play in EX rush i can see they changed so many things....first off no mini drone that was really needed to help tanks push in maps like Arica harbor and then they went and made shit like tracer darts only 1 guy's option as a fucking gadget and not a second weapon taking the hand gun of anyone making that choice!!!....they compounded the chock points of any map from the old games never scaling the size of the map for the increase in player numbers.....chock points that were bad with 16 on 16 are fucking bonzo with 64 on 64.....what really pisses me off is playing the DICE official MODDED servers in BC2 for years and seeing the real size of the maps they wanted and knowing the tech could do it now and give the space needed to run 128 total players.....Valparaiso has a fuck ton of hill sides you can walk on even in BC2 and its out of bounds now

I tried it for the free week, played about 20 hours and it’s definitely not as bad as people say but I still would give it a solid 6/10.
My biggest gripes:
-The TTK (time to kill), sweet lord the ttk. 10 rocket pods from a little bird to kill a soldier? TF outta here with that. I was shooting an enemy tank with the LB for a solid 3 minutes and the fucker kept auto-healing faster then my rockets regenerated. Also, the rocket launcher does 20 damage on a tank but ALSO does only 20 damage on a jeep?? It shouldn’t take 5 rockets to blow up an enemy jeep wtf.
-Speaking of the LB whats with the auto-levelling of all the air vehicles?? You pitch down and the thing fights you to level off, it makes it so awkward to fly and makes you feel like a dummy.
-Jets are literally unplayable. No freelook in cockpit? Have these guys ever played a BF game since 2005? Also main gun doesn’t hurt vehicles at all so to unlock air-ground missile you have to fly around like an asshole waiting for another enemy jet to spawn all match.
-Still encountered a ton of bugs: glass walls that had a rock texture that would hide the enemy, missing HUD items and even players sometimes. Nothing really that bad just annoying really.
-No teamwork or strategy at all, everyone is in it for themselves only. No one uses the chat to coordinate and you can’t even change squads if your squad isn’t doing anything (at least I wasn’t able to figure out how).
-Matchmaking AFTER EVERY ROUND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WHY.
-The specialist thing isn’t that bad but I just want to be a cool anonymous army soldier not a LGBTQ Russian sniper with a lesbian haircut who says “YEE-HAW”.
-Maybe I’m just old but the language of everything really got to me too: “YOU NEED 500 MORE BATTLEFIELD BUCKS TO UNLOCK THE GAMER EXTREME PASS TO GET THE COSMETIC BATTLEPASS DLC ADDON” like wtf bro just give me the fucking gun so I can shoot people…
