That confirms 2042 being another cod/fortnite with no plans to be like bf3/bf4. It's all overwith battlefield and we can only hope someone to make a great game like bf4. Perhaps the makers of Arma will step up.

Rip battlefield 2042 is targeted to those who play fortnite and other battle royal games as it has the bigger audience over the old classic battlefield players like ourselves. We're stuck with bf4 until further notice. Portal will not save it for us.
