I'm not trying to "get at" anything. The rules regarding griefing aren't exactly clear, so I was asking for clarification.

So, spawning in the attack helicopter and immediately switching to gunner seat and waiting for someone else to pilot is not griefing, correct?

I'll spare you that answer for my own sake. I'd like to see what you think, though, since you are the one who tends enforce rules, hence the post.

Is blowing up unoccupied vehicles at uncap griefing? What about vehicles that spawn at capped points? Also, is spawning in a vehicle and switching to gunner seat and waiting for someone else to spawn in pilot/driver seat griefing? Just looking for clarification.

Yeah but that's a common glitch where as soon as you get in the vehicle it makes that sound, but nothing has actually been fired. Hence the lack of missile or explosion.

There was no missile coming out of the front and there was no explosion where one landed. I have a feeling I'm not protected under your rules for different reasons.

Just wanna make it clear that I am not whining about the way the servers are run. I appreciate the time, money, and effort that goes into a well-run server, especially on an older game. I was just curious about a possibility for that type of server. Again, I've never ran a server or anything so...

Lol. I get that for sure. What about a day or two per week where bz1 is truly random/no voting? I don't know anything about running a server, so I don't know how much work that would require, just spitballing.

I was talking about a separate server, not replacing other servers. Plus, people already dip out when a map like Oman or Pearl gets voted anyway.

Is this something that has been discussed before? I think it would be cool to play all maps just on random. I know several people in chat have mentioned a desire to see this too...

I'll read the rules, and I'll follow them. I understand where you're coming from, and next time I'll just avoid the situation altogether.
