Having a brain, i wouldn't think the password would help either, but a possibility perhaps earlier in the game. However i've played on 3 different servers that switched to unrank, and they now do not continuously crash.

It seems that servers that are putting passwords for the server are up, but I think the real kicker is, they are also making them unranked.
