i've been noticing this from the browser stats - every time materno joins it's two of them? always just one when in-game when hitting tab for scores...he's the only one i've seen like that so far.

Because in Battlelog's system there are two accounts with that name.

This is the actual account that plays on the server:

Progression - materno3 - Battlelog / Battlefield 4

I guess the second account was a trial account, thus it has the same name despite a unique ID. The reason it shows twice is probably a bug/error somewhere in the system of it not knowing which profile to show (assuming it fetches by name). Regardless, I don't know the actual reason there's two. Neither have any infractions or bans though, so as long as they behave I guess it's ok. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
