What's your side of the story as to why you were banned? I was trying to show the S5 clan or whatever they were called a cool glitch with the hovercraft in spawn because we were both waiting out the map Lost Islands as neither of us liked to play that map. [S5]Gutsplaughter brought me a hovercraft from spawn and I placed c4 on it to make it hover in circles on the island closest to our spawn.

Why should we lift your ban? I merely meant to showcase it as a cool trick and did not go more than 50m off the ground I would not use hovercraft glitch to gain any sort of advantage. I have asked about the glitch before and it was explained in the RULES forum post that it is not allowed because people use it to make it an unreachable beacon. I was just messing around in spawn and did not intend to do any such thing. I will never do anything with hovercrafts again I really just thought it was just a bit of fun but I understand now that not everyone sees it that way and I'm sorry. I do not think the punishment fits the crime to perm ban for hovering 35m in the air near spawn when the game is about to end. You could achieve the same things with any other number of vehicles and I don't say that to be rude but to highlight my intentions to just show what I thought was an allowed cool trick (I.e. not using it as a beacon) to a squadmate I was getting to know. I was trying to show off, I intended nothing more and I sincerely and honestly would not have done it had I known that you all make no distinction between those doing it at an unreachable height and those doing it merely for entertainment or as a cool trick.

I had asked for clarification about those rules on Jun 6 2023 as you can see in the attached file. The use of the hovercraft on the same day in the other file was before I had got off for the night and I then posted the question in the forums. The "Spawn on the hovercraft at A" on July 9th was a normal hovercraft with no glitching that I had flanked behind the enemy with and was trying to get people to spawn and take the point. On July 16th the squad chat message "hovercraft beacon" was in response to a squadmate that had asked how it was there was a guy on our team so high in the sky. I was explaining that they were using the hovercraft beacon glitch, I myself was not using the hovercraft. Then on September the 19th as you can see I typed in TEAM chat as to tell my team to spawn. There was another person using the hovercraft glitch at that time I believe the map was Operation Mortar and our team was stuck at B. As for October 7th that was yesterday we already discussed that. I have been true to my word in not abusing the hovercraft glitch since I had asked for clarification on June 6th. There is no evidence to suggest that I was using / abusing the hovercraft glitch on any of the other dates. Just because I type "hovercraft" or "hovercraft beacon" does not mean that was me there is no proof of that. I would not abuse the glitch but the reason I commented on it was because many other people were using it which I found strange since knowing what I did then, that was bannable. If you pull up the relevant chat logs around the dates after Jun 6th I am certain you will find me warning others in my team / squad not to abuse that glitch as its bannable. I'm not that stupid that I would go to the forums with my in game name, ask about whether or not abusing the hovercraft as a beacon is bannable and then continue to do it and type it in chat. The fact of the matter is there is no evidence I had abused the hovercraft as a beacon past Jun 6th and it is equally likely that anyone else would be doing it at that time. The server messages from the chat log need their proper context.

I was merely providing evidence that this was not an isolated incident. You know of the glitch and frequently use(d) it, you also now go out of your way to show others how to do it on our servers. We do not tolerate showing players how to preform a glitch that will result in permanent bans on our servers. We have a zero tolerance towards it.

You can pull up the chat logs of anyone that says "flying hovercraft" or "hovercraft beacon" that doesn't prove anything except they typed it. The fact of the matter is you only have proof of 1 instance yesterday when you were spectating on the server. In addition I did not show anyone how to do it more so than I did it in front of the player yesterday. The placement is precise and they didn't see anything. In terms of "zero tolerance" I know thats not true because there are multiple multiple people that do it EVERY game where hovercrafts are available since you all usually stick to the hardcore servers. This is an isolated incident and if you do not have evidence showing that me, AnimeSniper1127, placed c4 on hovercrafts for the purpose of using it as a beacon I do not believe this ban is justified. You are making an example out of me its very plain to see because this glitch and many others are done all the time. I was just unlucky that you happened to be around. And again I reiterate, much like a movement glitch you can see it as many times as you want but you won't understand how to do it without being taught which is something I did not do. What I did was merely for entertainment and to show off. I would ask for some leniency as in fact this is the only time I have been "caught" using the hovercraft myself for whatever intentions. I came forward myself previously to ask about it and as such being a first time offense I would request that the ban be shortened to 6 months or maybe even a year. I've made my intentions clear through my actions and explanations here. The chat logs require proper context and as such I'm willing to show you that I am true to my word if you can afford me that opportunity.

So you admit to performing the glitch. Case closed, the ban is upheld.
