What's your side of the story as to why you were banned? I don't remember it was a long time ago

Why should we lift your ban? the last time I played this game was 5 years ago when I was like 14 or 15 years old. I probably violated the server rules but I have no clue I don't remember, I just redownloaded bf4 to see I'm banned on the only playable server lol, if I could get this fixed that would be great

There are no records of any bans on file for you. Given that you mentioned recently reinstalling your game, it is likely that you're being kicked from the server repeated for having an out of date version of the game's anticheat called Punkbuster.

Go to the website linked below, and download the latest version of the setup and service installer applications (PBSetup and PBSVC). Make sure the game is closed, and run both applications. Once complete, you should be all set to reconnect to the server.

This would be the reason for being kicked.

In the future, you can find out why you are being kicked by joining one of our servers using Battlelog. This will always provide a detailed kick message explaining the cause/reason for the kick in the first place.

In order to do that, make sure the game is closed and the EA App is opened. Sign into Battlelog and proceed to join one of our servers. Once kicked from the server, you'll see a detailed message in a red banner at the bottom of your web browser.
