I got booted twice for that last night

If you get kicked for too many teamkills again , start to record your game if you keep playing. Evidence of clean play will be necessary if you get yourself banned again.
You haven't been reported in several months for intentionally teamkilling though.

ok. for the record, instant replay is really finicky on my computer. It doesnt always work when bf4 is first launched and I have to remember to turn it off and on again for it to work

Should be fine, it most likely wouldn't be necessary unless you were intentionally teamkilling and had a lot of ingame reports against you.
