What's your side of the story as to why you were banned? I was not banned, but muted for trying to use a racist word spelled in a different way than the actual word.

Why should we lift your ban? I've played on your server for a very long time and I'm never racist in chat; see my chat history for yourself. I use chat quite frequently to coordinate and communicate with teammates This was a stupid idea, but I wanted to see to what extent your racism filters would go, and found out the hard way. I was trying to get the attention of a player on the server and wanted to see if he'd respond if I used a somewhat racist word, in which was successful, ironically. Again, very stupid of me, and it won't happen again.

Well you don't have a ban on record, but you did receive a punish point that likely enacted a 1 round chat mute for the filter evasion.
