Evidently, fluffy muffin knows nothing, and the Bf2 server populates during EU times. https://www.bf2hub.com/servers Several servers get populated every day, and I still play Bf2 quite often.

Is it free now? Last I played there was a free version and Gamespy BF2 profile tracking was replaced with a fan created service.

It's not free, but you can find a free copy, lol. But it's alive due to bf2hub and several servers in normal mode and night ops
