What I saw was the gunner (yPaconioo) shooting at the ground and having the splash damage be inflicted on the chopper. He ultimately damaged the chopper to the point where MinMax228 attempted to repair it once the chopper was disabled.

A punish point with be issued to yPaconioo for the team griefing. I don't think that MinMax228 is a concern at this time.

Wait... Do you not know that if you hover over a fire in the chopper, you can burn the gunner until he is dead? this is exactly what he was doing, and I'm shocked you don't see this.
In fact... if you look at chat logs, he wanted me to gun for him... and I told him i was at that main... he was actually coming to pick me up to gun for him. At the time, I did not know he had a gunner..... but i do know that a pilot trying to kill his gunner is against BZ rules. Was yPaconioo shooting at the ground? yup... and I don't blame him in this case.

That may be the case with the pilot attempting to inflict damage to the gunner with the fire, but I have no way of visually confirming that any damage was done.

If the person who is in the gunner seats doesn't want to give the seat up after claiming it first, then they don't have to give it up. It is not up to the pilot to dictate who should or shouldn't gun for them. There was also no visible seat/vehicle theft that took place, so I wouldn't be able to punish based on that. You'd have to wait for your next opportunity to ride shotgun.

You didn't know there was a gunner when he was shooting at the ground? Even I saw the gun turret moving around and the [2/2] on the player name for the vehicle before the gunner opened fire. Yes it is punishable for the pilot when they attempt to kill any of their crew maliciously, but you have to be able to prove that team damage was inflicted. You could argue that in this clip, the pilot was being dumb with trying to land. You can't see if any damage was dealt to the gunner. Only thing truly against our rules is the gunner's actions for the attempted teamkilling and wasting team assets.

For one, there is no visible chat messages in the video for me to even be able to match with our logs. Secondly, I'm not going off of stupid chat messages.

The video you provided is too much of a stretch to justify punishing MinMax228. The chopper originally landed in front of the fire, then the gunner started shooting at the ground. There's too many variables at play in my opinion. As previously stated, no action will be taken against MinMax228 at this time.

OMG...... no.... i did not know he had a gunner until he tried to burn him, and the gunner shot the ground., reason being... during the time of the chat...I was in the main, and he was at C.. he was coming to pick me up. he stopped at the fire to kill the gunner. but whatever.
