Which server were you on? BZ1

Describe the incident Dude's sniping into uncap. I picked up the transport, imediately set it down to wait for gunnners- pew pew I'm dead. Looks like he's brand new to the server, so go easy. Just putting it here in case it becomes an issue again in the future.

Hey Cold, I have a question about the intent of the attacking uncap rule, just for my personal education.
(didn't feel like it was worth making a whole new thread, as it was related to this same type of complaint)
The incident in question is linked below:


If I had stayed on the carrier without ever taking off, and they continued to laze and rocket- my understanding is they would be at fault for attacking uncap.
But since I lifted and attempted to land behind the bridge of the carrier to repair, does the rule still apply? If we're not completely capped, do I need to engage with a target in order to not be protected? Or is simply taking off from the carrier enough to be considered fair game for the enemy?

Do me a favor and open another report against SaintRambo with this video. This is in fact attacking uncap unprovoked situation, and I'd like to discuss that more with you on that report.
