Describe the incident Just a normal match in Locker, then I read someone in chat saying, "someone has a beacon in a glitch spot." and I knew I wasn't tripping. I tried to look for the beacon, since I heard it prior to that comment being made, and couldn't find it. Turns out, it's on top of the map. I get the guy, then he calls me a "camper" after 1 kill. Tried to report him, but it contested my report due to him having higher reputation. thus, making mine go lower. Quick question, what is the reason behind that "contest" due to higher rep? there's still people who have higher reputation that break rules.

It does nothing, “contested” reports still go through in the admin panel. We don’t really look at in-game reports anyways, the forums is where we handle 99% of reports.

After reviewing the video, there is no way for us to identify where the beacon is placed. There's also no way for us to confirm who it was that placed it.

My advice is to hop into spectator next time and try to identify that info if you feel that it's in a glitched spot. If it's simply on top of the mountain, then that is completely legal and nothing would happen from an administrative standpoint is concerned.
