Complaint from Ubiquitous3 about player Paladin_FPS

Who are you reporting? Paladin_FPS

Date of incident Jun 8, 2025

Which server were you on? BZ1

Describe the incident After not playing for what feels like several weeks, I hopped on to have some fun.

It seems I've played with Stirum before in the past in the AH, so was surprised how rude he was when I tried to fly the heli. At first, I thought he was joking because he was so out of pocket with his insults. He wanted to fly with Paladin_FPS only, and I get that, but the insults he was throwing around for no reason left me with no other option than to fly than to switch sides and kill both of them by seat switching. I guess that got under his skin even more because he kept on hurling insults and calling me trash. Paladin_FPS stayed out of it in chat for several games. Then, we landed on Sunken Dragon on the same team and I switched to Stirum's squad to try to talk to him and he quickly booted me and started being rude again. Both of them wanted a ride to high roof from me in the z11, but I felt no obligation to suddenly oblige the person who had been insulting me for several games. The next map was Shanghai and I landed in the gunner seat with Paladin_FPS. You can see in the video he tilts the heli sideways and bails when I refuse to give up my seat to his friend; a common spiteful move.

Truth be told, I used to act this exact same way years ago. I get it. You want to fly with your friend who knows your style and is in Discord with you. It's the best way to teamwork and it's frustrating when you can't make it happen. However, I wanted to fly too and when I'm told I'm trash by the other player, I'm not going to stop trying. I learned the idiom " you catch more flies with honey than vinegar" applies here.

My solution that works 8/10 for me that I would suggest to them is "I have a gunner already, do you mind?".

It shows respect to the person who "won" the heli seat in the draw and works most of the time. If they persist or seem upset, I offer to let them have a turn after we die. That's my work around. I hope that helps.

Paladin_FPS insisted that I upload this, so here it is.
