I'm hard wired to my 5G router, looks like BF 4 is all open on the firewall, don't know if BF2042 is or if would cause problems.. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game I need to take a look at The T-Mobile app and see if something changed on my router. I even called T-Mobile to ask if any updates have been Done..If you are on a laptop at home then I would suggest to disconnect from your wifi and then connect to your router with a Cat5/Cat6 cable. Some wireless routers can be an issue with blocking ping because they're translating TCP/IP into UDP even though their bullshit companies might deny this.
Connect with a wire and see if that solves the issue. If it does the problem is your wifi. Disconnecting power from your wifi router and letting it cool off overnight is the laziest and best way to resolve this one. Overheating causes most router problems. Making sure your router is in a well ventilated place helps prevent this problem.
If it does not then the problem is the firewall on your computer or your router. A simple reset to default might cure this for you.
Far less likely is your ISP might be throttling traffic. This is entirely possible if you use Comcast.

5G cellular I wish I could get 5 gigabyte Internet. 1 gig sucks plus it's way over priced. He could mean 5G as in 5 gig if he’s on a 5 gig att fiber plan. Not traditionally what 5G means but I’ve seen people refer to it that way before.
You mean my 56K baud modem is a router? Wow!Yah, I still hear people calling their router a 'modem'.![]()
Lol no but close, I use 5g that your phone uses, but I believe I'm capped at 300mbps down and 50mbps up. T-Mobile 5G internet, it's a small black box. On good days it's about good as cable Internet..You mean my 56K baud modem is a router? Wow!
