Why does the rank! command no longer work in bz1?

and why are the ranks in the server not the same as in the server page?

AFAIK the stats stopped tracking a long time ago, and it only tracks total score.

So it's a useless metric to track top players. It tracks who touched the least grass.

I can’t say whether or not stats are still currently tracked because I’m not sure. I do know at one point though, there was an issue with the stat database that got corrupted and the backup was out dated or something like that, which is why the in-game leaderboard may not match what’s on the website.
