It seems that servers that are putting passwords for the server are up, but I think the real kicker is, they are also making them unranked. Thats more than likely the problem, the connection to the "stats" which might be making the serv3ers go beep bop beep. I mean, just using simpleton logic here.

same thing happened to me yesterday afternoon when i tried to join servers ,but in the evening , i tried to joining the same servers that requested a password ,and the password thing has gone . i suspect it has something to with problem bf4 is now experiencing .
That would make sense. An "unranked" server would, I assume, basically be running without much ( any? ) connection to EA. A ranked server on the other hand must maintain a connection to EA's systems and this connection seems to be the one experiencing issues.
The password won’t help. Setting to unranked might but that isn’t ideal whatsoever and creates its own issues.
Having a brain, i wouldn't think the password would help either, but a possibility perhaps earlier in the game. However i've played on 3 different servers that switched to unrank, and they now do not continuously crash.
I don't think you can say making a server unranked "might" help, it is not only helping, it has solved, in a roundabout way, servers from crashing. I believe 100% that the crashing is caused by the stat server or stat script wherever it may be located at. I am not advocating a switch, only reporting on what I see going on. Im sure more will come out as time goes on.
I’m sure it probably helps but I don’t think we have any plans to do it since doing so comes with a new set of problems.
Could you put a single server in UNRANK just to try? It would be a good test to see if it remains stable compared to the others. bz11 would be a good server to test (if it is still available). It would give a good backup plan for players when the other servers get attacked.
