It seems that my version of "Chrome" was Corrupted. Reason being is when I used firefox, the issue was not there. I have been having a lot of BIG issues with Chrome lately. So I uninstalled it and now working off of Firefox. Thank you for your interest....

I have a very similar problem.

I just received a phone call at almost 10 o'clock at night from Windows Technical Support. They said that they were just in my computer and noticed that there was an error message, and that I needed to correct it.

I played this shit into the phone very loudly....

And said, "NOW I JUST HACKED YOUR SHIT, SON! YOU'RE FUCKED!"

The dude hang in there for a little while, even called me a liar. I called him Steve, even though he said his name was some Indian name.

My wife and I were cracking up until he finally hung up on me.

Now I get these little green icons popping up while I'm browsing.....

It sounds like some form of advertising bug? Check if you have any unknown plugins running on your browser.

Is this the "green icon"  you're referring to? If so it's not a virus, it's Chrome telling you the site is secure.

less port, more ad blocker, chrome works fine, you wont fix anything from going to another browser this is a user based issue
