Well, this is a new one for me.

On Saturday I was on BZ1 minding my own effin' business and the power went out for my neighborhood. When the power came back on I tried to get on and EA said my credentials were not valid. Fine. I didn't have time to mess with it on Saturday so here I am today and now EA says my account doesn't exist anymore! WTF?

The exact error is: "We couldn’t find your EA Account."

And what does their useless website tell me to do to get help?

"Log on to your account and open a chat"

FFS.

Any ideas or advice here?

Thanks, 'Trang

Well, shit.

Got a dm from a friend on another site and he says he thinks EA is bouncing old accounts to force people into paying monthly to access games. I hope this isn't the case.

YIKES! will check and advise on my side.

This is almost certainly illegal. EA fucks my account up all the time: EA App will say I have EA Play which I don't, games will show as not installed when they are etc...

What I do is use the EA App Recovery in the start menu and do a full reset. If that doesn't work delete the cache folder in /User/AppData/Local/EALaunchHelper and re-install the app. Don't bother with EA support they are entirely useless.

I am well and truly fucked. EA says my account no longer exists but if I try to make a new account it says my phone number is already associated with another account...the one they say doesn't exist!

EA chat support was about six klicks past useless.

Stupid douche wanted me to logon to the account that I can't logon to to verify who I was. At least he acknowledged the account exists.
