Well, check this out..
This looks hellva fun, like Heroes was.
Something that EA had never tried or was involved in, til Heroes.

Ive played BF series since the original 1942 closed then open BETA.

How long have you guys been playing the series and favorite game from the series??
My favorite by far was BF2, was ranked in the top 1% as sniper, world wide.

How long have you guys been playing the series and favorite game from the series??

I started playing 1942 and 1942:Secrets, then moved on to Vietnam. I recently spun up Vietnam, launched it as a server, and had a couple people join in so the game isn't quite dead yet. I loved the helicopters in Vietnam.

BF2 I used to play tournaments during my Mature Ass Kickers [MA] days. My sole victory in a tournament netted me $1,800 and I believe that was in fall of 2005. I recall BF2 was put to death by EA some years ago.

Also had my best kill streak in BF2: 61:0

BF3 was great especially the Heavy Metal map. Made my most absurd shot ever in that map. At the start of a round I was in a tank leaving the US uncap when you go up a hill - using the hill for extra elevation on the main gun I fired a round and killed the enemy attack heli on the pad - 3km away!!!

1942 was the first FPS shooter I played. I only played single player because I didn't have internet that could run it.

Vietnam was one of the best games in terms of innovation and new features. I.e., blowing up the tower of your enemy's airfield took away their aircraft. Cool shit. It was the first game I played online and where I met a bunch of guys from bZ.

BF2 and Special Forces was probably the last great game that EA put out. 2142 was cool, but just seemed like a skin for BF2 with some cool gameplay on the titans.

BF4 has levolution, but otherwise, mostly the same game. They should not have tweaked the commander role and should have left him an active player in the game.
