338 Lapua

Anyone have a 338 Lapua? Savage has an updated version of their 110BA series and it's reasonably affordable. I think I'd rather have a 338 than a 50.

gotta have the room to shoot it. if you've got lanes out past 1200yd (realistically out to 2000-2200yds) it's a perfect cartridge for the job.

personally, if you aren't shooting past 1k, I wouldnt waste the money. theres PLENTY of cartridges that will do the job just as well (or better) at closer ranges, for half the money. if you want to talk shop, this is my forte.
