Admin tools seem to be deficient

Tonight I reported a player with an inappropriate player name, and instead of taking the report, I was given a strike and my reputation lowered because their name is caught by the racism filters.

I fail to understand how a player is allowed to play, yet you cannot report them.

FWIW, the player I reported was N one ggerdrenol (censored for fear the forums have the same problem).

If someone has a playername that violates speech rules, the admin tools should *first* check the playername before processing it as banned speech.

Thanks.

You can type the partial name and leave the part that makes you cry out of the report. The admin tools will search for closest name to your partial and ask you if that's the name you wish to report. You then simply type "yes" and bingo: you've reported the bait name without getting baited. In this case you would report "gerdrenol" and the plugin will present you the full name for you to confirm with "yes".

Probably safer to just report it here in the forums.

Reminds me, I need to report this guy with the obscene name of @Howiemandel01 but I don't want to get banned for mentioning He That Shall Not Be Named.

Correct.

Except you type: !yes to confirm (or !no to try again)
