Any idea as to what is going on here?

I'm messing around in 1.5 and I notice that a blueberry seems to be teleporting / flying on the map. I hit record for a bit then left and came back as a spectator.
I wanted to confirm what I was seeing and find out who it was. They magically stopped flying around and I don't know who the player might be. Any chance of finding out?

 
1. He's not a blueberry if he knows to monitor when he'd being spectated.
2. Thanks for posting this. I thought I saw something similar last week and now I believe I was right.
 
I tried to join the squad but he wasn't in one and most likely alone on purpose.....I was so looking forward to catching him but no luck.
 
Yeah and unfortunately after reviewing the session's battle report, there were too many people to try and pick through to identify. Luckily for them, they got away this time but will eventually get caught.
 
If this happens again, you could join the server as a spectator and fly around the map to spot him. He might see that there's a spectator on the server, but he won't see anyone spectating directly on him?

But sooner or later he's going to get caught. Many of these hackers end up getting overconfident and get caught with their pants down. Especially a hacker who fly during a match while trying to kill someone with a stinger. It won't be too long before he gets caught on video.

Depending on the cheat software they are using, their spectator alert can actually name who's spectating.

I did try to spectate....that was the second sentence in my original post.

Sorry I did read your second sentence, but I misunderstood the context. I thought you were spectating from player to player trying to find out who was flying, and that he stopped just as you were doing that which is why I suggested using the free camera to find out who the player was. I didn’t realize that everything had completely stopped as soon as you joined the server as a spectator. Thanks for clearing it up.
 
All good.....I'm assuming they knew someone was spectating. There have been multiple times someone rips off 50 or 100 straight kills then suddenly becomes a below average player (or just simply disconnects) as soon as a spectator pops up.

Well, if it makes you feel any better I just caught one of the fuckers.

Jonatanberga. Flying around and possibly even being invisible to other players - I didn't catch that last part but I did get the flying around bit.

Video and all.
