My headset keeps going out mid-game. Very sporadic but I must leave the game to resolve. Drivers are up to date. Anybody else experience this? Any troubleshooting tips?

Appreciate any advice.
 
If you're plugging in to your sound card maybe try using USB if you have the right adapter for it.

I used to use a headset for my 7.1 sound card and had other issues. Switched to using a USB headset and so far so good.
