For those of us who remember the BC2 release in 2010 this marks the end of an era. This is the last week to enjoy it one last time.

Heavy Metal. That map was The Bomb! 
Heavy Metal as recon was my favorite thing. I never played with sound either, only music. Wild experience. I miss those mortar goggles and sniping heli pilots(used to be so much easier).

Thanks for sharing that mate. Watching the trailer again brings back chilling memories of the intense gameplay and maps. BC2 had the best maps for Rush, hands down.. The DLC maps we're on point. I really do miss that game and the destruction, way better than bf 4

BFBC2. A masterpiece of fun. BF4 is great. BFBC2. Was better. I think map design is what lacked in later BF games.

Tonight is the last night, so I'll be on BC2 this evening with a few drinks trying to find a rush server.
If there aren't any rush then conquest it is.
There was pretty much only one HC server left for the last few years. I still played it occasionally up until recently. But I think even that disappeared in the last couple of months.

Maybe it's the time I go on? Panzerschlacht is the server I play on. I see Clan Grozny on the list sometimes too, but the ping for that one is too high for me.
Just tried logging in to see what it looks like this time of day, but cant even sign in
