I'm not seeing any bans on file.
Try reinstalling punkbuster (or installing if you're on steam) and reconnect to one of our servers via battlelog to get a more detailed kick message.

I think so.
I am unfamiliar with the EA Desktop app but I'd give it a try. You need a correct installation of PB to run BF4.
