What's your side of the story as to why you were banned? I was gunning in the helo and I'd bet my left nut that their helo shot out at me as it left main. I fired, and killed it. They said they didn't fire out, to which I immediately apologized. Don't know what else they wanted me to do, and the game kept going.

Why should we lift your ban? It was an honest mistake and I apologized for it.

Fair enough, it is what it is.....although I'm betting some of those reports are from killing snipers and mortars/UCAV'ers firing from their main on maps like Pearl.
I am curious about what happened to them attacking the uncap, prior to the incident in question.
When you watch the video he posted, check out the 1:06 minute mark when they take out the ZFB-05 before it leaves the Chinese uncap.
He attacks Echo (all good), then checks the map, the vehicle leaving main is well within the uncap, he turns and attacks it.

The only way for a vehicle to be spotted on the map is if they:
Shoot
Spotted with Q
Laser Locked
Or spotted by a MAV.

I don't see a MAV on the map that would've spotted the MRAP leaving base.
Was it a poor choice in terms of killing it, yes.
Do we know the entire story behind it, no.
If that player had posted a complaint with evidence leading up to the kill, SquarePanties would have been punished accordingly.
