Banning Question

When a player receives a temp ban does the clock start when Admin makes a decision or when the player first tries to log back into the server? Asking as it could impact when to file a complaint. If it is against a player that is not a regular and the clock starts upon admin decision I would think there is a good chance that the offending player won't even know they got a temp ban.

If it's a temp ban, it's effective immediately when the ban is issued. If it's a 1 day, the ban expires 24 hours from when it was issued.

If I feel the need to have someone come and appeal, and they're not a very active player, then I may issue a permanent ban to force them to come and appeal.
