Car Camping Family Tents

I'm in the market for a new tent for my family of four. My wife is not what I would call "outdoorsy", so I'm looking for something that she will find comfortable and can fit two queen size air mattresses or just have extra space to hole up in a storm.

I'm looking for 6-10 person tent, budget of around $250.

I've looked up various best of lists, and have not found that one tent that seems to make it onto each list. There is so much variety.

Would love some input.

Depending on your car there are some great tents that use the vehicle also. Then you just pull out and go

Rent a small lodge and get a window unit, or get a canopy wrap mosquito net around it sounds crazy but just throwing random thoughts out there in themiddle of the night
