Describe the incident General_Dietrich threaten to use his connection to "cyber" in the US Armed Forces to find and kill another player. I responded to him stating that him saying such was a stupid threat to make. He later reported me for supporting child porn on the server. I have never and would never say anything in support of this. I reported him for threating people and then tried to report him for making a false report about me. I was then muted by either an admin or an automated system in the server. Threatening other people on a video game who are stating opinions you don't like is not okay. But, saying you are going to creditable use connects to the US military to kill people is beyond the pale. Then making falsely reporting me for supporting something I clearly do not just for calling him out on his unacceptable behavior is what drove me on here. I really want to engage with people in chat and have fun, but its hard to do that when he is threating to kill other players IRL.

Might be time to let his premonition be right tonight with "I'm getting banned tonight". He had his chance to clean up his act, clearly the previous warning didn't take. I leave this up to the admins, but I will say that Dietrich has become a continuous problem in 7 and irl death threats bragging about his military connections should net him a one way ticket out.

The chat log displays differently - something I found grossly offensive and disturbing. Whether you said it in jest or not - or in a "legal term" did not sit well with myself and several other players. Personal threats are an obscure derangement of the actual case and not something that would take to truth. I hope - and believe - child porn references are not something to be taken lightly.

On the other hand, you've already had a number of warnings Dietrich. You already had a perminant mute, and agreed to not be a problem in chat as the terms to get unmuted. Real life death threats in chat citing military connections is without question "being a problem in chat". You know how this works, you see something you think is an issue, report it. That's it, nothing else.

Acknowledged and it was not he but another player that engaged in said said actions, this individual just defended the other player which I found atrocious. Though I may not agree with your conclusion, understood on those terms.

Looking through the chat, the HankTrill dude you were mad at was saying loli (some stupid drawn hentai nonsense) isn't illegal because it's drawn and not real. I don't actually see that guy advocating for child pornography or anything. While I think the HankTrill guy that you were threatening is an idiot and an ass for even coming close to defending even fake drawn kid porn, threatening IRL death in the chat is still 100% not okay. Let the admins ban the guy.

And to be perfectly clear, my personal standpoint would be that the HankTrill dude should be perminantly muted for even sort of defending even fake versions of the shit. But it's up to the actual admins to handle disputes like that.

I would refute that based on your personal bias and dislike toward me - I stood for what is right. While "threatening" (not seriously) may not have been the right course of action, emotion can take control & there is little remorse for those joking or even advocating for CP.

I don't have a personal bias against you lol. We got along just fine until about a month ago when you started ranting about politics. And tbh I read the logs and there is nothing joking about your threats. You may feel that you were standing up for what is right, and I even agree with you that Hank is wrong for even bothering to slightly defend that stupid hentai nonsense, but your approach is wholly unacceptable. It's up to the admins, but considering your previous perm mute and the terms you agreed to, my perspective (which is irrelevant tbh, but I just want to be upfront with you), is that you should be perm muted again or banned considering the threats, and the Hank guy should be perminantly muted as well. And on that note, I'll leave it up to the admins.

Also keep in mind (although this may have been mentioned before) threats like that can be taken to court depending on the person receiving those threats:

Just for future reference. Although Hank's views may be incorrect or intentions be horrible, would be careful on what is said online.

I would like to iterate again that we are, in fact, a gaming community. We play games, ban hackers, stuff like that. Shit gets old real fast when everyone cannot just shut the fuck up about controversial shit that's brought up for no reason whatsoever. Our group and our servers are a place to chill out and game, not a soap box or debate hall.

Looking over the chat logs of last night shows that Dietrich was drunk "wasted" as he said, and took one statement and made it into something else.

I'm over it. Just play the game, go to reddit or 4chan if you want to debate shit.

Banning General_Dietrich for consistent toxicity.
