I see you're point about it being close to a grey area. You can see in the video that I fired after I saw him fire the TV in my direction; I was returning fire because I don't think I'm obligated to wait for his tv to land to assess his intent before I fire back especially in the position my team was in. Since he was the greatest threat based on kdr/score, I immediately focused on him when I spawned. From watching the map and kill feed I knew he was in that specific boat. An argument could be made that his tv was intended for someone else who was firing out of base first, though he did not state that when I called him out. Now that I mention that, I do recall him saying something about me shooting someone out of base first, so maybe he did honestly mistake me for someone else, though that would be his fault even if it were and honest mistake and not just one he came up with after I mentioned reporting (I can't know). At the beginning of the video, when I spawn, it appears the team can spawn on at least two flags, so I don't think we were to the point of him having no other viable target than our base.
I don't report with an expectation for y'all to ban. I have no expectation of exactly how y'all will discipline players for breaking the rules. I trust your judgement and would even hope that you would warn players who claim to have a great reputation like Krow claims to.
Reporting is just my way of helping the issue instead of paying bad actors back myself in a way that breaks the rules and escalates anger. In this case, I was motivated to take the time to report based on his action as well as his insinuation (or at least my perception of his statement at that time) that he is somehow above the rules by association with "the admins."
