False server population

What is it with the false server population numbers? 61 showing, and about 14 in the server. Is this a normal thing?

Bf4 has had a broken population in the server list forever now. Go on battlelog for an accurate number of players.

Yeah, that's true, but I prefer using Battlelog for other servers as some admins inflate their numbers to make more people join. But if you use Banzore exclusively, the homepage is probably the best option.
