RE: Notable items: Stealing vehicles from the enemy uncap is allowed, however you're not allowed to defend yourself while in their uncap.

When I'm in the enemy Uncap, can I fire & kill (from their Uncap) at enemies that are in the actual Battlefield?

(i.e. the enemy is not in their own Uncap, but in the actually battlefield? and I am not trying to defend myself, I am attacking enemies that are NOT in the Uncap? ...is this allowed and in compliance with server rules?)

Basically, if your intention of being in their uncap is to ultimately steal one of their vehicles, you are not allowed to fire back in defense. You're free to step into their uncap (not sure why you'd waste your time doing that). Uncap rules would still apply here though.

Also, why would you step into their uncap just to fire out at enemies who are in the playable area? That sounds so incredibly stupid and counter-intuitive.

clarification #2: (therefore) if your intention of being in their uncap is NOT to steal one of their vehicles, then you ARE allowed to fire BACK in defense, (per Coldkiller)

Please help with clarification #3: if your intention of being in their uncap is NOT to steal one of their vehicles, and you have NOT been fired upon, Q'n: are you allowed to fire at enemies, (w/o being fired upon 1st)

If they are not covered by their spawn protection, yes. So if they placed equipment, repaired, or are actively locking onto you, etc.

This would be a lot easier if you just said what kind of autistic actions you want to take. Then somebody could tell you if it is allowed or not. Instead of playing autistic cat n mouse

Seeing as you're wanting to overcomplicate something so incredibly simple, I'll put it to you this way.

Stay out of the uncap. Period. This is literally a prime example of "looking for trouble".

I 100% agree....FYI: I an NOT the one trying to go into Uncap, a BZ member did, he said something contrary to BZ rules, hence my post trying to better understand & not violate BZ rules, so Fluff - go fuck yourself because I am not what U said I am:

Let me tell U how: If I am in the Uncap with intent to steel a vehicle, when I'm in the uncap, I can't protect myself, but if an enemy is also repairing in uncap, can i kill him? 1 rules says yes, the other says, no...do U see the confusion....Hence my request for clarification.
 
Upon further discussion, I see the ambiguity between the rules and what others in server told me about the rules....let's start over (totally new question here):

Q1: Is the "Notable item" of (Stealing vehicles in enemy uncap & not allowed to defend yourself while in their uncap.)
A: a Specific example of what is not allowed, or
B: Generally applied always (i.e. you can NEVER defend yourself while in their uncap) & we just used Stealing vehicles as a typical example?

Just give us a ruling...is it A or B? (Fluff please do not comment, Admin's only, thank you)
 
You got a ruling, you braindead piece of garbage. However, you are not satisfied with what Cold said; therefore, you are changing the optics to suit your own desires.

Jesus Christ dude. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill. If you're going into the enemy uncap to steal a vehicle then don't shoot anyone until you leave. It's pretty fucking simple. Otherwise just stay out of uncap since there is very little reason for you to be there other than to steal a vehicle - which is allowed - or to camp the uncap - which is not allowed. Since you probably will suck with the vehicle anyway how about you just go to a flag and capture or defend it instead of worrying about the enemy's base.

As an admin telling you to stop making our rules 1000x more complicated than they need to be with this braindead thread, STAY OUT OF THE UNCAP. In the 5 years or so that the rules were written, we've not once ever had an issue with this until now, and it's clear that you're looking for a "loophole" that will ultimately lead to more trouble for you. Again, and this is a direct order at this point, STAY OUT OF THE UNCAP.
