Are you playing from a university, college, or organization's network? Or is this your home network? Or are you using stadia or some other streaming game service?

Are you playing from a university, college, or organization's network? NO I am at home

Or are you using stadia or some other streaming game service? None at all

I do use Brave Web Browser...do you think it might be that? it is faster than Chrome and more secure...

So brave is sometimes commonly used for going through Tor, you could try using firefox. And without going into detail about what is secure or not, probably not best to use brave when connecting to game servers or such? Firefox is also a good choice.
But not entirely sure if using a Brave Web Browser would affect the server via VPN. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong)

Logging in through VPN, while safer, is also subject to more abuse. A VPN hides the user data. I.e., It's harder to discern one user from another which means it's harder to discern one hacker from another. Best to know who you are and what you're about. If we don't have that, it's hard to say if you're a hacker or not, so, error on the side of no hackers. I.e., no VPN.

VPN's are great for porn and regular browsing, but not so great when you want to guarantee your identity, as in guaranteeing that you are not a hacker.

I think I said that right?

Well that only works if the hacker has a static ip , if it is dynamic he /she can change ip with the press of the mouse I also felt the bf4 can be pretty toxic and I have have had ppl capture my ip share it on the ingame chat and ddos me and give out personal info (Not on Banzore Servers) so I did feel safer using a vpn, not sure I would like being marked as a hacker just for being safe (punkbuster, 24/7 fairplay, bf4db, server admin, and video recorded spectator is still the best way to stop hackers cold!

The vast majority of cheaters don't know how to change their IP or GUID. They buy the cheat engine online and run it without understanding proxies or dynamic IP. VPN kicks drastically reduce the amount of return cheaters we have to deal with.

Plus with the advent of spectator warning, any halfway competent cheater won't be caught on spectator. And PB/fairplay is darned near useless for catching the new cheat engines. And BF4DB only bans with solid statistical/spectator evidence, which is much harder to get now. So VPN blockers save admins a good bit of trouble.
