About a year ago, I feel down the stairs and broke my hip. Fortunately, it was just a hairline fracture and the Doctor told me to walk with crutches and try to rest for 6 weeks and no surgery was necessary. Below is a picture of the x-ray. You really have to look at it to see the crack since it is so small.
