Orelhão. A slang that literally translates as "big ear". Common kind of payphone installations around Brazil in the 1990's, before mobile telephones started becoming popular.
I don't know if they still exist in the country or not, but you shouldn't try looking out the kind of advertisement you would find glued inside these shells.
