kicked by admin, kpm ban? what is this?

i was 15-15 or so , no tk's, not attacking uncap then seamingly random out of nowhere kicked and banned. can anyone explain what a kpm ban is?

looks like a lot of people got it at that moment, server glitch/error?

I can confirm that I shot steel with a TOW and he killed me and instantly got banned lol. I stole his empty LAV after too.

Looks like a ton of people got falsely banned just now. Admins need to roll back any bans from the last hour.

Yeah, that sounds like a KPM ban. A lot of servers have auto-systems that kick or ban if your kills per minute get too high because it can look like cheating. I’ve had it happen before when I was just on a roll, and it’s super frustrating. Best thing to do is check the server rules or hit up an admin to appeal—it’s usually not personal if you weren’t breaking any rules.

Yes, it turns out that was exactly what happened. dozens of players experienced the same thing. Even though the online page had a ban beside my name I was still able to join and play the next day. Ban appeal approved along with all others within a couple days.
