Ladies and Gentlemen a peak, at "BF6"

Thoughts with, what is show, thus far..

We all know from experience, that what they show for trailers, and in game play, doesnt always translate to what we play.

as far as pre order, I did not for the last few BF titles. I will however preorder this, why? Dice/BFStudios, I believe, know this is it. This is their last hope. If this is a failure, Im afraid they are done with this franchise, So I believe its gonna rock.

We discussed this exact thing the other night, best advise when it comes to this franchise.
To be honest, it is the best advice for gaming period these days, especially from the larger studios. In the past when developers were more or less allowed to finish games before releasing them you could be confident that the game you preordered would at least be completed when it launched even if you didn't end up liking the game. Now it just seems like companies use it as a quick boost of cash to appease their shareholders until the next quarter. This is not the kind of behavior we should be rewarding as consumers.

To be honest, the amount of players that play bf4 really can't even be mentioned when talking player counts. bf1, bf5 and 2042 each out pace bf4 player count by, well LOTS. I only bring this up because, is bf4 its' roots?

I don't regret waiting for the most expensive package for BF1 went from R$400 to R$20 before buying it, and I definitely don't regret getting BF5 for R$0 via someone else's Amazon Prime.
I don't think I'll regret waiting to see what becomes of this next BF game, specially after being hyped for the BF2077 trailer and seeing it was as messy as Cyberpunk 2042 on release date.

Whatever they do I just hope the new instalment has what we ALL want from a Battlefield game:

-No soldier classes just 5-10 gender-fluid heroes who shout things like "yee-haw" when they shoot and also have purple hair sometimes.
-Custom character skins so I can see Martha Stewart out there on the battlefield to really help immerse me in the game.
-Having 40 okay guns and 1 OP gun that just everyone uses so you can get killed by it over and over.
-That REALLY cool knee-slide-COD thing that the newer games have, man I LOVE seeing everyone sliding around on their knees while trying to play a re-enactment of a real war that happened where actual people died. Man everyone looks so cool when they slide around like that and also it's realistic too.

Come on DICE I am sure you can do it this time!!

*EDIT: Oh I forgot one other one:

-Soldiers who when they run they hold their gun upwards with one hand, it really helps the realism of the game I hope they keep that too.

Ngl to you guys, if theres a pregnant man class or something like that im all in

They have already stated that this will be in more than likely in the same campaign time periods, as BF3 and 4.
Along with style of game play, and maps.
It would be amazing to a make map from BF2 like Dragon Valley on a epic scale size, with full destruction.

Battlefield has always a release, or go gold, with a half ass working game, then patch the shit out of it hoping for the best.

I remember in the trailer for the original Vietnam, you were supposed to be able to tow artillery behind you with a jeep, and take it anywhere.
But once, release, you could only sky hook jeeps, with Hueys, and drop them on unsuspecting enemies from above.
LOL

I'll be waiting to see how woke it is before I buy it. I am most definitely NOT buying another game where I'm supposed to shoot at women. Fuck that noise.
"How do you shoot women and children....????"
" Easy, you just dont lead them as much..."

Artillery is sorely lacking in basically all Battlefield games. Maybe it's due to the focus being more tactical but it's still disappointing. For some reason I don't remember the airlifting jeeps from BFV.

Sounds like my job every time we roll out some massively expensive project that's made out of cut-n-paste shitcode copied off of GitHub.

BF2 had artillery. That was one of my hobbies in that game was blowing up the enemy artillery and then sniping the guys who came to fix it.
