The youngsters won't get this, but some of the others will.
Last night I got a piece of steel stuck in my eye. Rinsing, rubbing, drops, etc - nothing helped (yes, I know you're not supposed to rub your eye when something is stuck in it, but everyone does anyhow). So all last night and this morning I've been shedding a tear out of that eye and that's when it occurred to me: perhaps someone dumped some garbage near Cody and a piece of debris flew into his eye and that's the real reason he was crying. His circumstance and mine are eerily similar.
(seriously, though, trying to get through the evening, night, and morning with that crap in my eye was horrific)
