This picture was taken from one of the on base clubs over in Okinawa by a staff NCO I believe, I do not remember who I got this from but this is just one of many creepy ass things in Oki.

Ya know, I never believed in anything like this either until a bunch of weird shit was happening on Okinawa that I haven't experience before or since I was there.
About 1000 jap soldiers got massacred in this cave right here as the US forces took back Okinawa and this island (Ie Shima) and a cove right down the coast a couple hundred feet produced one of the strangest sensations I've ever experienced after we found a dig in with old food rations and sand bags.
Below is the only building that survived on Ie Shima by the time the Japanese landed there to pick up their American escorts to deliver the surrender of Japan. This island is packed full of a lot of interesting stuff on such a tiny patch of land off the coast of Oki, I'm glad I had the opportunity to check it out!
