Oppenheimer.

Let it be known @PlanoPete stood me up last night!!! Got dolled up all for nothing and ruined my makeup with this summer heat!

I guess I'm going to let @CorruptDLL take me out on date instead and Plano would definitely be super jealous! XD Holaaaaaa
It's ok, Pete would just stay in the concessions area the whole time instead of walking into the theater.

Saw Oppenheimer on Sunday and ho-lee-fuck that was awesome. It is extremely detailed and accurate.

I knew I should of asked gaus. However corrupt has a bike I want to feel my hair flying.

How long is the movie and did you view it in IMAX?

It was very long. 3 hours. I watched it in "imax." The real IMAX theater at the science center decided not to show it because it's too long and it would keep them from showing a lot of other things they had lined up. They may play it later in the year tho. The sound design is wild. Definitely worth watching in a theater.

The only real 70mm Imax around here is Universal city walk and the Chinese theater. The others are Imax laser 'I think' & they clearly don't say 70mm. I don't think I've watch a 70mm Imax movie yet. Last movie I watch to see was the Joker with this "thing" of an ex.

Should ask this cutie at work if she free Friday, but then I might end up at HR smh.

Ever try MX4D? I've tried the motion chairs before they called it 4d and it was ok but this was during a testing stage at my local theater.

I've not heard of MX4D, but have done motion chairs, but it was when I was a kid.

The real IMAX at the science center is MIND BOGGLING and it's been there since I was a kid. I'm a little disappointed that it wasn't showing there.

A swamp thing?

movie was good but long....no one under 40 will have a fucking clue

There's a 70mm IMAX in Nashville. I should go but $25 for a fucking movie ticket, what is this world coming to?
I just noticed the price too but if in 70mm it seems reasonable. Just don't walk to the concession stand lol.

Mx4d is available at the Chinese theater but never been there and I hear it can seat up to 900 people.

I'm sure the science center is similar.

That's the same price for the Chinese theater. Guess its a deal, just don't line up at the concession stand lol.

In 2011 I've gone to a movie with a friend and only ordered a soda, when they said $5 I left it and put my atm card back in my wallet. They worker looked at my sort of disgusted but I was disgusted with those prices for a regular size drink.

It is extremely detailed and accurate.

Did they include the bit of trivia on how Los Alamos had a surplus of opticians working there? Everyone seems to miss this tidbit but it was in the first edition of Oppenheimer's book: Atom and void : essays on science and community (1989)

It's actually a critical bit of classified info that leaked into the public domain.

That's not just a movie when it's on a real IMAX. It is a visceral experience. The effect makes it feel like there is nothing in your vision but this movie. And they usually have really good audio and they bump it. This is the movie you want to see at full volume.
