Ping restriction

Been noticing a lot of high pingers (200+) on bz2 lately
Thought the limit was 200, was this increased somehow? Makes the game unplayable with so many players with such a high ping even in peak hours when the server is full

Most of the time, ping limit will only be active when the server is completely full.
Many times it was said already: better to have a bunch of shit pings on the server than have completely empty servers.

Agreed, but auto kick is not working when it is 32 v 32
Not complaining about low pop at all, need more players obviously
Auto kick worked when it was 25 v 25 weirdly enough today
maybe its working occasionally and is bugged? idk

The limit is indeed 200, but it’s based on average ping. If their average ping stays below 200 then they won’t get kicked. Thats my understanding at least.

Anyways, better to have people to shoot at instead of a dead server. Not ideal but it’s better than nothing.
