Quick question about lazing

So I’m well aware of the rules of no shooting into uncap (besides when all objectives are capped or someone is shooting from it), but what about lazing?
As some on bz1 are well aware I’m somewhat of an SUAV whore and at times I’ve followed a helicopter back to uncap. Sometimes I bail because I don’t want to bait someone on my team into attacking uncap unprovoked, but sometimes I stay on them because the battery is going to run out anyways.
Would that also be considered against the rules to follow a vehicle back to uncap in an SUAV? I want to make sure I’m not doing anything I can get anyone else or I in trouble for.

If a vehicle is returning back to uncap, regardless of whether or not someone is a fresh spawn on that vehicle, they're fair game. Once the vehicle leaves the uncap, it loses it's uncap protection. What you're doing is fine as long as you're not lazing the vehicle before it even leaves the uncap.

More often than not, lazing into the uncap can result in unprovoked uncap attacks from other allies, which can lead to false punishments. If found guilty of lazing into the uncap, we can technically punish for this as it's similar in nature to attacking the uncap. Of course this doesn't matter if the enemy you're lazing has already fired out, returned to uncap, or the enemy is all-capped.

Hope this explanation answers your question.
