Using OBS' Replay Buffer, which stores the last x seconds in a memory buffer for when you want to save a moment. I use a five minute time span but you can do more or less depending on your resources. When you prompt it to save, it uses your recording settings and output directory. CPU usage averages between 0.5% and 1% while using the buffer.

No problem. When you setup your source though, remember to do window capture. Game capture hooks into the game and doesn’t play nice with punkbuster but is fine with most modern games.
