I am so far removed from any kind of clearance to even know what their toys are called it's silly. I'm allowed to know their phone number and I can make electronic reports. That's it.

What's awesome though is to be on the phone with one of them asking about something and you hear furious typing going on and then an "Oh, yeah. Thanks. We'll look into it." meaning that guy confirmed in a few seconds what took me days and maybe weeks to develop.

I am over 50+ and I have no idea what you are talking about but what really disturbs me is your last sentence. It sounds like you have first-hand knowledge referencing little girl anime and their overt sexual themes.

Read back in this thread. I clearly cited my firsthand experience with someone I knew and was acquainted with.

At the time I worked with him (2000-2002) he just seemed quirky to me and the thing for little girl anime just seemed another quirk. I had little experience with anime of any kind at the time.

Read what he was convicted of and then imagine being me and this shit had been going on right in front of me and I had never even noticed. Part of my issue now is I feel a measure of guilt for the suffering that might have been prevented had I simply paid attention to what was going on.

Oh heck yeah. American comic books before the 1980's were shit. The art was flat and the stories were pedantic.

Around 1987/1988 the American comic books took on Japanese-inspired levels of art and of story writing. It was a revolution.

The first Batman movie was revolutionary for back then because all most of us knew before that was the Batman TV show from the 1960's which was campy on purpose.

Tim Burton brought The Dark Knight (the character, not the movie) to the screen and changed everything.

Batman was no longer some bullshit cartoon character but instead a dead serious killer. I saw that movie when it came out and people cheered for it.

The whole MCU and DCU owe their existence to the success of that movie and these comic books that came out in the late 1980's.
