Nawwwwww, it's so much more fun when you teamkill other players because they don't play the game exactly the way you want them to!
Example: I got deliberately tk'd yesterday because I was playing it safe with the AA after getting 100% pwned by a crafty heli pilot. I was trying to figure out where he was shooting from when some nitwit on my own team tk's me while I'm repairing the AA and he steals the AA. Then he gets 100% pwned by the same pilot.
Which brings me to this:
There's some people I really hate in this game:
1. The ones who bitch because someone isn't using the AA to kill infantry.
2. The ones who bitch because someone isn't using the AA to kill aircraft and in particular the C130.
3. The ones who whine because someone gets the AA and takes it to their uncap.
And while they're busy bitching about the AA the enemy is busy capping flags.

That's why I usually don't even bother taking it at all. Some people want you to charge in like it's a tank. Other people want you to hang back and not "waste it". Then there's the ones who think it's their personal vehicle and only they are allowed to use it. Although I somewhat agree but not totally. The whole point of the AA(Anti-Aircraft) is to shootdown/work jets, heli's and AC gun ships.. I hate when they camp in spawn being useless. That goes for all vehicles including tanks, where people are begging to get C4'd when they grief and don't use the vehicles as they're intended for. I don't see it often, but you see the odd useless AA camping back beside spawn. Again, it depends on the map.. The people I enjoy having in AA covering my ass from the heli/tank is @Przz and @7grr. First, if it is a map with only one AA like Hainan, Karellia, or Mortar then getting the AA to safety is job #1 because then if the flag is lost the enemy is denied the AA. This is an extremely effective way to protect your own aircraft.
Second, the AA isn't always best for killing an enemy but instead denying them airspace. Keep their heads down and make them avoid airspace so your team can operate freely.
Or charge in and shoot at infantry and get killed so my team can cap the AA. That's cool, too.
Oh, and the AA being in the uncap is allowed according to our rules.
I'll also add that IRL you always have the AA at the rear of the action. Ukraine has been teaching the Russians a few lessons about why you don't send AA out to engage infantry.
