When I get it I relog both battlelog and the ea app, then restart my PC, router and modem.

EA error codes all typically translate to "We fucked up but we're going to make you think it's your fault."
The trick I found is go into the multiplayer tab, quick join, and choose conquest large/small. sometimes joining those will fail, but when it does find one and load, it cures the Error Code 1 when you rejoin BZ servers.

^^^^its started....the forcing of the app will not be stopped....they are already shutting down origins servers in some places and i bet money in the next 6 months only the app will work....pile of shit app still will only launch 2042 about half the fucking time.....wonder how long before they just shut down BF4 as bad company 2 is getting shut down by the end of the year.....
I haven't had any problems with the EA App since it forced me to switch to it. I guess I am lucky. I am also knocking on a wooden desk as I type this.
