When BZ1 Server HitReg Is Set To 'No'

Can I be brought up to nerd speed?

I thought hit-reg issues were related to moving targets and trailing hitboxes? Is this a hit-reg issue or a ballistics issue (unknown optic zero combined with shooting from elevated)? Net code or physics code?

Please take me to the Pedantry Gallows if needed.
 
Summary:
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because Hiko was already dead.
 
maybe 2 misses, but the rest were hits, however, I believe on ledges like that, they are higher than what they look like, or rather the meshes of the models are higher than what they look like graphically. You get this when behind rocks that you can see the enemy, your gun is over the rock, but you keep shooting the rock, instead of the target, lol.
Yeah this was my initial thought too when I watching. Ledges fuck me all the time.

EDIT: just watched it on full screen. wtf that is messed up. no ledge interference, and the first few shots were hits.
 
its called S-hitreg for a reason.....:eek::oops::rolleyes:o_O
