If a word that is said in chat is subject to a ban and or kick, then it seems it wouldn't be allowed in a nickname. Am I crazy for thinking this? I mean some names if you type it in chat, you'd be kicked or depending on points, be ban'd for saying it. Like, peekajew..............type that in chat.... Hey peekajew, there is a guy over.......KICKED! ive seen plenty of guys with the "N" word in their name....and just always thought, why is that allowed........................

It isn’t. We issue bans until they change their name.
However, unless we see them ingame or people report them, they won’t be dealt with.

Yes. I have seen this happen before, both to me and other people. Reporting a person with a banned word in their name, even if you only type in a portion of their name and then confirm with !yes, will cause the filter to ding you for that word. Sometimes it is simply a kill, sometimes a kick, and - I presume - sometimes a ban, all depending upon how many current punish points you have I think. It doesn't matter what the report is for either. This is probably an issue with the plug-in being used by the server itself and not something the Banzore admins have included intentionally.

In these cases it's probably best to just report the person here on the forum rather than registering an in-game report. Kinda annoying but it is what it is.

idk why people even bother reporting guys with obvious bait names…. The whole thing just seems like a futile attempt to regulate online interactions because to many people can’t handle being slightly offended.
